What is a Roku Box ?

The Netflix Player makes it easy to instantly watch movies and TV episodes over the Internet on your living room TV, or anywhere you have a TV and an Internet connection. Compact and lightweight, inexpensive but powerful, simple to set up and use (it’s the perfect answer for people who just can’t get enough Netflix).

So basically I just ordered mine after a few days of contemplating. So basically if you buy this box for a $100 and you have a netflix account that’s at least the $8.99 a month, you can view all the movies through this box on your tv. Movies, tv shows, documentary’s, and more. Anything you find on the Netflix library, you can watch instantly on this Roku box streaming. It displays in HD, but I hear it’s still sub dvd quality. For about $120 a year to watch any dvd I’d like instantly, I call that a deal. Plus you get the 1 free mail in dvd deal with netflix.

todays quite time

Today many equate being emotionally moved by music as being moved by the Spirit, but these are not the same. Real worship happens when your spirit responds to God, not to some musical tone. In fact, some sentimental, introspective songs hinder worship because they take the spotlight off God and focus on our feelings. Your biggest distraction in worship is yourself – your interests and your worries over what others think about you.

I came across this documentary called Earthlings and it’s about how we humans abuse our animals for consuming purposes. You can watch the video here http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/earthlings.php. I think the worst parts for me is when the dolphins throats were cut and left on the floor to bleed to death. The dolphins would contort and cry in pain while school children would walk by. Also pig farmers brutally abusing pigs with a metal wrench and yelling at them to hurry up and move. Another scene the man knocks out a pig by hitting the pig in the head with a blunt metal wrench.

I think this is an old documentary but I’m sure this kind of stuff still goes on. I love meat but I’d rather have kosher meat now. This is just appalling.

a million dollars

Don’t you hate it when you wake up from a crazy dream that you were enjoying? This morning I dreamed that I had won a contest and won a million dollars as the prize money. And this all took place at a poker tournament somewhere in Vegas. So I decided to place my 1 million dollar prize money on one hand of hold’em. I had a King and Queen clubs suited. Opponent which happened to be an old asian lady had pocket rockets (2 aces). As soon as the flop came out she had made a 4 of a kind. 4 aces. Than it started to dawn on me that I had bet a million dollars all on just one hand. Man, I’m so stupid I thought. Cause this was my dream the next 2 cards was a king and queen which made it 2 pairs for me which means I would still lose. But it was my dream and in my dream world, I WON! I was jumping for joy, screaming at the top of my voice. I called C screaming how I had won and that we would never have worry about money ever again.

For some reason, C was house sitting for someone. And the scene changes now to the house shes sitting. I’m in front of my computer and I decide to check my banking account to see if the money is my account.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Damn it! Stupid dream tease.

No more iPhone

So I sold my iPhone today. I feel nostalgic already. I believe the iPhone was the best phone I’ve ever owned. It was my ipod, my phone, my calendar, my todo list, my web surfing on the toilet, it did it all. The “Jesus Phone”. How I will miss you.

The reason why I sold it was to wait for the 2nd generation iPhone 2. I can’t go on without ever having the newest thing so I made the jump for now. So I sold my phone for $330 bucks which is not bad. I only lost $10 bucks total since I’ve had it. Great deal for me and the buyer.
